Lately I've noticed a wave of transformative energy affecting family, friends, coworkers and strangers, and it seems as though the general reaction from all experiencing transformation is the desire to avoid change. There's a conscious effort to resist uncertainty in all people, as uncertainty brings fear and well, we've discussed the power of fear already. So what do we do? When your world as you know it changes, when you're reflecting on yourself and your impact, when blessings halt and that uphill path comes out of no where? What do we do?
Sit. Still.
Now read it again.
Sit. Still.
Sitting still isn't literal. I don't mean for you to stay stagnant. Sitting still means to be quiet, hear and observe changes and lessons, and go still with the evolution. Go with peace. Go with courage. Go with FAITH. Divine timing is a part of your life whether you want it to be or not. So let go of the control and trust that there is so much power in waves, and that power is yours to utilize in conjunction with the universe to achieve whatever goals you have for your life.
The universe is always shining a light on what areas we are to be growing in at the time, and it's important for us to not only be able to recognize the light, but be able to quickly adapt when that light changes. Typically when we aren't able to adjust, it's because we haven't taken the time to sit and reflect on the changes and recognize what we are called to work on internally at that given moment.
The other day I asked my sister: "What is one thing or area you'd like to personally develop and grow in? Something you'd love to be better at?" And she asked me the same. And we sat there discussing personal growth and areas we think we can be better in. And since that talk, those conscious and thought-out desires of growth have been a constant on my mind, to the point where I'm subconsciously noticing ways to exercise that growth. I, too, am in a transformative wave in life, but instead of focusing on [and having anxiety about] changes coming my way, I'm mentally and spiritually preparing myself for them by making sure I am the best version of myself and that I am consistently evolving. When that is your focus, you gain a new insight on change. Think about it -- if YOU are consistently evolving, growing and changing, why would you expect the UNIVERSE to never evolve, grow or change?
Your life isn't working against you. In fact, it desperately wants to work WITH you. So sit still. Listen. Trust in that divine timing and LET IT WORK.
